Video Description
“Managing expectation is the key,” says Leanne. “If you are grateful for having the replacements which will in time make your quality of life better than before, you will have a better outcome.” She knows having a hip replacement includes risk but it is a risk worth taking. She felt it was “liberating” to be out of so much pain. She was able to visit her son who was living in Lebanon and go on a bike trip through Morocco. Before having the surgery, she didn’t think she would have been able to sit on such a long flight. Leanne feels she is able to live her life with less regrets than she otherwise might have.
