Watch as our physical therapist, Barry Schaffer explains that, “ knee replacements are far more complicated to recover from postoperatively than hip replacements.” Physical therapy is schedule for six weeks and sometimes could last up to 12. The key to success is getting all of your extension back and at least 90 degrees of flexion. Our patients talk about their physical therapy experience and emphasize the importance of putting the necessary work in to fully recover from surgery.
