Our patients, doctors and physical therapist all agree that the best physical therapy for hip replacement is just walking. Start slow and increase your walking distance each day. With success, according to Dr. Door, “you should be back to work within a week or two if you want to, and you're gonna play golf at six weeks. If you want to play doubles tennis you can play at a couple of months. If you want to go snow skiing you'll do it around four months.”
